An Update on Downtown Kirkland meetings and other events: Upcoming Design Review Board DRB meetings: The DRB will meet on Monday 2/4/08 at 7PM at City Hall. The information for this meeting is available on the City’s website at
This is not the last DRB meeting for this proposal – there is another scheduled for Monday 3/3/08 as well. It is interesting that the DRB has not received much written public comment pro or con, considering that this is a zoning change and a significant proposal for this property. Use this site to provide your comments as well. McLeod Project The DRB will meet on Tuesday 2/12/08 at 6 PM at City Hall (note the earlier start time). A DRB vote is likely at this meeting. City Council meeting: The City Council will meet on Tuesday 2/5/08 at City Hall – and the meeting is in two separate sessions that may be of interest to you. The agenda is at The meeting starts at 6PM, downstairs at City Hall (Peter Kirk Room) with a study session regarding the Transit Center and its design and related issues. Keep in mind that a Study Session is open to the public but it is for the purpose of allowing the Council members to discuss a subject, and there’s no opportunity for public comment – although you can do so at the regular meeting which starts at 7:30.
